FROM WARDEN -
On the N3 from Warden drive about 42km turn left onto the R722 (Verkykerskop). Drive this road for about 12-14km until you come to the Mount Everest Signboard then turn right onto the S1204. After driving this road for 4-5km you will see Mount Everest Main Gate on your right hand side. 

FROM HARRISMITH -
Take the N3 and drive for about 5km, turn right onto the R722 (Verkykerskop). Drive this road for about 12-14km until you come to the Mount Everest Signboard and turn right on the S1204. After driving this road for 4-5km you will see Mount Everest Main Gate on your right hand side.

Your cellphone number will be loaded onto the gate with confirmation of payment, so make sure that payment reflects 24 hours before arrival to avoid unnecessary disappointment.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE S1204 IS A DIRT ROAD. It is slippery when wet. Please drive safely.
